VISION 5/22/2026— THE MONITOR LIZARD
During a recent prayer session, I asked God, “What are they doing?” in reference to World Governments and Leaders, And He answered: “Harming each other at a scale unknown to man.” Then I saw the Monitor Lizard.
The monitor lizard carries strong symbolism because of its watchful nature, its instinct, its ability to sense what is hidden, and its quiet, calculated movement. Unlike birds that rise into the heavens, the monitor lizard moves close to the earth. It watches from the low places. It senses the atmosphere. It detects what is moving beneath the surface.
Watching and Monitoring
A monitor watches, observes, tracks, and records. The monitor lizard may represent something being watched or things happening beneath the surface that are not yet fully understood. This requires monitoring what is monitored.
Hidden Harm
Because the vision came with the words from God, “The Are harming each other at a scale unknown to man,” the monitor lizard may represents seen and hidden systems of harm. This kind of harm is happening in real time through groups, government systems, speech, greed, fear, survival, jealousy, oppression, and spiritual blindness.
It speaks loudly of people devouring one another without fully understanding the scale of what they are participating in.
Instinct and Survival
Monitor lizards are creatures of instinct. They survive by sensing, waiting, watching, and striking when the time is right. This can symbolize the lower nature of man when it is not submitted to God: appetite, survival, territorial behavior, coldness, and self-preservation without compassion are normalized against the minority groups, low income individuals, parents and children.
In Torah, reptiles often represent what moves low to the ground: instinct, appetite, uncleanness, hidden motion, and earth-bound consciousness. It does suggest something beneath the surface.
The phrase “harming each other” lines up with the Biblical pattern of people becoming trapped in mutual destruction:
| Pattern | Biblical idea |
|---|---|
| Brother against brother | Cain and Abel pattern |
| Oppression for gain | Egypt / Mitzrayim consciousness |
| Corrupt speech | Lashon hara, destructive tongue |
| Exploitation of the vulnerable | Robbing the poor, abusing the afflicted |
| People devouring each other | Social, spiritual, and moral collapse |
Cold Observation
The monitor lizard is not an emotional symbol. It is watchful, patient, and calculated. In this vision, it may represent observation without mercy — systems or spirits that watch harm happen but do nothing to heal it. It warns. Look deeper.
This can apply to institutions, workplaces, governments, digital systems, families, or spiritual atmospheres where harm is being tracked, tolerated, or ignored.
Hod distorted through animal instinct:
observation without mercy, intelligence
without righteousness,
monitoring without compassion.
That can look like:
- people studying each other to control each other
- systems collecting information but not healing people
- workplace, social, medical, political, or spiritual structures that quietly harm
- people being reduced to data, behavior, weakness, or usefulness
- predators watching patterns before striking
The Truth
The monitor lizard in this vision represents hidden harm, watchfulness, instinct, and systems of mutual destruction. It reveals God's truth, that people are harming one another at a level beyond ordinary human awareness.
Adonai sees what is hidden.Adonai sees what is crawling beneath the surface.
Adonai sees what people do to each other in the dark.
Adonai sees the systems, the motives, the wounds, and the scale.
The monitor lizard is a warning symbol: watch what is being watched, discern what is hidden, and do not become part of the harm. Stand with YHVH and know the truth.
My Prayer For Today
Thank you Father, Adonai,
God of truth and mercy,
open my eyes to what is hidden,
and keep my heart from fear.
Guard my mouth from harm,
my spirit from anger,
and my hands from joining destruction.
May You expose what harms,
heal what is wounded,
and restore justice in my city, state, and country.
Thank you for allowing me to stand with You in truth,
discernment, mercy, and peace.
Amen.
